May We Dismember the Wings of Angels is an album by The Judas Sprawl, composed and constructed between October 2019 and January 2020. Inspired by the dreamlike qualities in silent cinema, the aesthetic and poetry of 70s giallo filmmaking, queer anxiety, and the contemporary concerns of biological breakdown and burgeoning technological futility, the whole is composed of tracks serving as character portraits for beings who occupy the titular dreamfilm -- a deeply troubling, and yet ultimately melancholic, tale of sexual exploitation, bodily mutilation, and lovers untimely severed from one another.

Blurring influence from ambient, industrial, house, synth pop and post-minimalist traditions, The Judas Sprawl create an uncannily otherworldly universe from cheap, commonplace, outdated and decaying sounds.
